3 Ways to Care for your Skin this Spring

Bring your sunscreen
Outdoor activities are a welcomed change from the long, cold winters spent inside, but when your skin hasn’t seen the sun in months it doesn’t take long to develop a burn. Whether you’re headed to a warm beach or taking a road trip, one of the most important products you can bring  is sunscreen. Epionce Daily Shield Tinted SPF 50 is a broad-spectrum, very water-resistant sunscreen to hold up even when sweating or swimming, protecting your skin against UVB rays that cause sunburn, and UVA rays that lead to premature aging. Apply in the morning under makeup or on its own for a natural glow. For best results, apply liberally at least 15 minutes before going out into the sun, and be sure to reapply at least every two hours or after 80 minutes when swimming or sweating. Use at least an SPF 30 broad-spectrum sunscreen to protect any exposed skin on your body.

Relax and hydrate
If you find yourself spending too much time in the sun, try a simple Epionce solution to calm visible redness and ease discomfort. To help skin recover quickly, spritz Balancing Toner on your face, arms, legs and torso. The naturally soothing cucumber extract helps hold in moisture and calms visible irritation. Apply a tablespoon of Enriched Firming Mask and leave on for fifteen minutes to help to take away the heat and redness from warm temperatures and too much sunshine.

Be mindful of water
Getting caught up in daily activities makes it difficult to remember to drink water. Dehydration can cause you to feel sick and irritable, and is aggravated by warm temperatures and sugary or alcoholic beverages. Set goals for water intake to help you maintain a healthy amount of hydration every day.
