How does Votiva™ work?

Votiva™ uses up to two modalities to address your specific concerns. Votiva™ with the FormaV handpiece, carefully heats the vaginal tissue to reduce laxity and tighten the pelvic floor muscles. To target external laxity, Votiva™ with the Morpheus8 handpiece is used to tighten and rejuvenate the tissue.

What is the Votiva™ treatment process?

During the treatment a small handheld wand is applied to the internal vaginal canal and external vulvar tissues. The wand uses radiofrequency (RF) to delicately heat vaginal tissue. This results in the rejuvenation of collagen and elastin as well as increased blood flow.

Votiva™ is scientifically designed with built-in temperature control that ensures optimized comfort, safety and effectiveness. This is a completely painless procedure! When the device is inserted into the vagina the patient feels a warm and soothing sensation. Once inserted, energy pulses are released. Votiva™ is performed in office (no surgery needed) and each treatment lasts around 20 minutes.
