A graduate of UF’s Nurse Practitioner program, Kimberly has over 20 years of nursing experience as well as 15 years in the medical aesthetics industry. Kimberly is an advanced injector and carries the largest portfolio of Dermal Fillers & Neuromodulators (wrinkle relaxers) in Gainesville and the surrounding area.
Kimberly is a life-long learner and is constantly participating in continuing education so she can keep giving the best care and service to her patients. It’s her belief that each person’s face is a work of art and she strives towards rejuvenating that canvas with nonsurgical cosmetic enhancements.
To help you get to know Kimberly a little better as well as her passion for NFA, we decided a Q&A would be the perfect place to start:
What do you love most about your work at NFA?
I love that I’m able to pair my business degree and my Nurse Practitioner license with my artistic expertise to create a more refreshed look for my patients! Truly blessed!
What is your favorite part of the job?
The most gratifying aspect of my job is being able to create balance in each person’s face without making them look “done.” Then, seeing their response when they see themselves in the mirror for the first time! Even after 15 years, I’m still overjoyed seeing the metamorphosis and joy on their faces.
What is your favorite nonsurgical cosmetic enhancement to get yourself?
Everything that I have for my patients I have personally tried at least once. I don’t feel comfortable offering a service that I am not only willing to try myself, but that I believe actually makes a real difference for my patients!
Right now my favorite is the Viva Resurfacing and CoolSculpting®.
- I like a natural make up free look and the Viva Resurfacing treatment allows me to do that!
- As for CoolSculpting®, who doesn’t have a little fat pocket here and there that they’d like to slim down?? CoolSculpting® truly does work and is an amazing treatment for fighting stubborn fat.
What is your biggest piece of advice to those considering a nonsurgical cosmetic enhancement?
Make sure you are going to an experienced injector with the proper state credentials for injecting! A lot of people will make you believe that they are experienced, but make sure they have the credentials and experience to back it up. Take a look at their social media and website before and after photos to get a sense of what they can do.
Start off slow! Nonsurgical Cosmetic Enhancements should make you look refreshed and like a better version of yourself, not like a different person.
What do you love to do when you’re not working?
Being with my family brings me so much joy! My girls and I love to bake, create art projects and spend time at the beach! A typical weekend for us means lots of kids at our house, lots of eating and lots of laughter!
